LillahLife guide

From installing on your phone to using every feature, step by step. Pick a topic from the contents.

Getting started

Install on an Android phone

LillahLife doesn't need the Play Store. Install it from Chrome, then open it from your home screen like any other app, notifications included.

  1. Open lillah.life/app in Chrome.
  2. Tap the Install the app button that appears at the bottom, or the ⋮ menu at the top right then Install the app / Add to home screen.
  3. Tap Install. The LillahLife icon appears on your home screen and in your app list.
  4. From now on open LillahLife from that icon, not from a Chrome tab.

Tip Using Samsung Internet? Menu ≡ → Add page to → Home screen. Same result.

Getting started

Install on iPhone

On iPhone, LillahLife is installed from Safari. Notifications can only be turned on from the icon on the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later).

  1. Open lillah.life/app in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Scroll and choose Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Close Safari, then open LillahLife from its icon on the Home Screen.

Tip Don't see the option in the Share menu? Make sure you're in Safari, not Chrome or another app's built-in browser (from Instagram, for example).

Getting started

On laptops and computers

Open lillah.life/app in your laptop's browser with the same account; everything syncs with your phone. For prayer times in the toolbar, install the Chrome extension.

  1. In Chrome or Edge, open lillah.life/app and sign in.
  2. Optional: click the Install icon at the right end of the address bar so LillahLife opens in its own window.
  3. Add the Chrome extension from lillah.life/extension, then click Connect extension in the app.
  4. Pin its icon (puzzle icon → pin) so the prayer countdown is always visible. Click it for prayer times, habits, tasks, notes, projects, focus timer and tasbih.

Record meetings on your laptop

The Chrome extension's side panel opens beside any page and stays as you switch tabs, so the recording keeps going.

  1. Open the side panel: the Notes tab in the popup, right-click the LillahLife icon, or press Alt+Shift+L.
